BRIDLINGTON LIONS CLUB

Some of the things that we do

We hold twice monthly Club meetings and organize social events for club members and their families.

We visit other local Lions Clubs to exchange ideas.

We play a part in the wider family of Lions at National and International events.

Lions in the Community

Bridlington Lions provide a transport service for hospital visiting and help local groups, like Friends of the Elderly: Mind: Guides & Scouts: Torch Group: the local Hospital etc.

The Lions also visit elderly people in the community and run social evenings as well as day outings.

Projects such as Bridlington in Bloom was supported with the donation of a planter.

Lions raise funds to help and assist others by raffling Easter Eggs in pubs and hotels around Bridlington. A Soft Toy Tombola stall is run during the Summer season on the sea front.

Every Christmas time Bridlington Lions provide and erect a Christmas tree and receive donations from the community to be used for good causes in the local area. This year we shall once again be holding our free Christmas Concert in the Spa Royal Hall. View Photos There are also some photographs of other events with which we are associated.

The Lions meet on the 2nd & 4th Thursday of every month at 19.45 hrs.

“We Serve” is our motto and the Lions Clubs International consist of  1.3 million members in over 200 countries around the world. Each Country is divided into Districts and Bridlington is in District 105c which covers 56 Clubs in and around Yorkshire
