Book Shop

Thank you for the Books. Keep them coming.

Open from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. from Monday to Saturday

A big thank-you to those of you who have donated books to the Lions Bookshop recently. We rely on you to continue to provide this service which raises funds for local good causes and re-cycles what would otherwise be consigned to land-fill.

The Lions bookshop needs several hundred books each week to replace those which are sold. All types of books are accepted including paperbacks, hard backs, magazines, fiction, and non-fiction. Donated books should be in good condition suitable for others to read.

Your donations can be made directly to the bookshop which is open from 10:30a.m. to 3:30 p.m. from Monday to Saturday, or we can arrange to collect them from your home.

The Lions Bookshop is located in Palace Car Park and provides many works of fiction arranged on shelves alphabetically by author with some shelves dedicated to crime, thriller, horror and science fiction stories, and there is a large selection of Mills and Boon romances. We also have non-fiction books arranged in sections covering cookery, gardening, travel, crafts and general subjects. Recent releases and books of special interest or value are displayed in the bookshop window so take a look when you are passing or feel free to come in and browse at your leisure. Staff are always happy to help you locate that elusive book.

Thanks go to the Lions and Friends of the Lions who man the bookshop providing their time to bring you this service.

Bridlington Lions have a constant requirement for used books in good condition to sell through the book shop. Proceeds from the sales in the shop go towards helping fulfil the Lions pledge to help worthy causes in the town and overseas.

We are located at:

8, Prospect Arcade, access from Prospect Street next to the Age Concern charity shop, Bridlington, YO15 2AL
