Christmas Para-Ted

para-tedWhen a young person has an accident or needs to travel in an ambulance they may be given one of the Bridlington Lions Para-Teds. The idea is that the teddy puts the youngster at ease, and may use the teddy to tell the paramedic where they are hurting or what the problem might be.

The Para-Ted pictured here is one that made a guest appearance at the Festival of Christmas Trees at St John Burlington and acted as a fairy on the top of our tree.

This activity is one of the many that the Bridlington Lions Club does.
