Have you any Spare Bottles of Drink?

Bottle Tombola

DO you have plenty of bottle? Can you spare one for a good cause?

Bridlington Lions Club is looking forward to their annual carnival held on Sunday 4th August. To help with the fund raising the Lions are holding a bottle tombola and need lots.

Fundraiser Simon Gregson said: “There must be lots of bottles in peoples cupboards that have been given to them that will never get drank. We are offering a great way of getting rid of unwanted bottles while you help us to raise money for appeals in the Bridlington and surrounding area. We know there will be many people out there who received extra or unwanted gifts of bottles of wine or spirits over Christmas.

‘‘Donating any bottles that are not needed for the tombola would be very welcome indeed.”

The Bridlington Lions Carnival is the biggest fund raiser of the year, and the bottle tomobola is one of the best stalls that we run. With assistance from people giving bottles to us we can raise much needed funds to be used for charitable causes.” said Simon.

Anyone wishing to donate bottles can either leave them at the Bridlington Lions Bookshop on the Prospect Arcade or phone Simon Gregson on (07770) 280164 to arrange their collection. An email can be sent to simon@bridlingtonlions.org.uk requesting collection.
