Lions Carol Concert at the Spa

DSCF3241Once again, the Lions Christmas Concert was held at the Bridlington Spa. It featured The Driffield Silver Band, Brid Beat and Martongate School Primary Choir.

The evening was amusingly compered by Lion District Governor John Hall who lead the community singing and told some very funny jokes and stories.

A raffle was held; the prizes consisted of three huge hampers of Christmas gifts made up by Reena Scrowston, sister of the Lions President.

Many of the supporters were transported to the Spa by coaches from all around the district. The main hall and balcony were full and after the event it was very pleasing to be told how much people had enjoyed themselves.

A vote of thanks was given to all those that helped with the evening by Bridlington Lions President, Eileen Sunderland.

The Bridlington Lions Club would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
