Young photographers from a Bridlington Junior School have shown they know how to create winning pictures.
The year 7 class at Bay Primary School beat 12 other junior and primary schools in Bridlington and the surrounding area to become winners of a Lions Photographic Competition.
The contest in its third year which is run between the Bridlington and North Wolds Lions Clubs is a photographic competition for primary and junior schools. This years competition has just been completed.
Each year 6 class from the 12 schools taking part was given two disposable cameras and asked to take up to 48 photographs with the subject ‘Trees’.
Once the cameras were sent to processing the cameras were returned to the schools and pupils were asked to select what they thought were the six best pictures.
Mile Barnard of Images Photography carried out the judging to find the winner and runners-up.
Bay Primary School came our on top with runners up Wold Newton School and New Pasture Lane who came in third position.
Bay were presented with trophies and the winning picture enlarged.
