Message from President David Sutton

“I am very proud to be taking over the Presidency for a year of almost certainly one of the best Lions Clubs around. I hope this year to continue the work of Immediate Past President John Bayne in both the Youth field and with our Service to the Elderly.

When I joined the Club I did so mainly to support local charities and causes and that is still my intention although of course I accept that as an organisation we have a wider family around the District, Nationally and Internationally who also need and deserve our support.

We have an excellent two years coming up with our Clubs 50th birthday and Charter plus the distinction of holding the 2014 District Convention here in Bridlington. A big thank you to all the members of this Club who work very hard in their efforts of both fund-raising and to Service to the Community.

Of course it goes without saying also to YOU, the public who make these things possible by giving us your continued support at our Charity Carnival, Car-Boot Sales and all the other events that we organise and run. Thank you. David Sutton – President Bridlington Lions Club.”
