Rotary Club Festival of Christmas Trees

Merry Christmas

A post from the Rotary Club of Bridlington about the ‘Festival of Christmas Trees at St John Burlington in early December…….

The event is held Friday December 2nd till Sunday 4th December and Friday 9th December till Sunday 11th December.

We have around 60 decorated and illuminated Christmas trees donated by local schools/churches/youth groups/charities and businesses. The sight is amazing and demonstrates great gifts of creativity and imagination.

Admission is free to the event but there are buckets around the church in aid of nominated charities. The venue is St Johns Burlington Methodist Church, St Johns Street, Bridlington. There is parking at the church and on the main road.

Throughout the two weekends local schools and music groups perform seasonal music. Also there is a cafe serving morning and afternoon tea/coffee and scones plus light lunches at very reasonable prices.

The Bridlington Rotary club would like to invite Rotary Clubs from around the District to think of bringing a coach of senior citizens or special needs children for a visit. We can promise a magical experience/lovely music/good food and a warm welcome. We would endeavour to tailor your visit to suit your needs. Community Services Committees please take note!

If you would like further details or want to arrange a coach visit from your Club please contact Rotarian John Fisher, 10, Dunnscroft, Flamborough, YO15 1PZ Tel 01262-851785 Email
